The smart i950 cabinet servo drive offers everything needed for precise and dynamic motion control in complex multi-axis applications and features a variety of safety options. The focus is on high power density, reduced cabling, simplified commissioning, and a flexible, modular architecture. Operation can be controlled either centrally via a higher-level controller or using the drive's own logic. The power range is from 0.37 to 250 kW. In addition, the use of One Cable Technology (OCT) reduces the amount of wiring required and prevents interference.

The i950 cabinet offers flexible modularity and can be customized for feedback and fieldbus link. This reduces the number of variants and lowers system costs.

Thanks to modular communication interfaces such as CAN, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherCAT, and EtherNet/IP, as well as targeted support for established drive profiles such as CiA 402 (protocol-dependent), the i950 cabinetcanbe flexibly and seamlessly integrated into a wide variety of automation environments.

In addition to its flexible hardware configurations, the i950 cabinet comes standard with integrated technology features as part of our FAST Application Software. Based on pre-configured technology applications within our FAST Application Software Toolbox, it can be easily integrated into modular machine solutions thanks to its built-in PLC—parameterization instead of programming. If required, the pre-designed software modules can be easily customized and extended.

The requirements of the Ecodesign Directive, standard EN IEC 61800-9-2, are met.
